From time to time, employees face significant or unexpected challenges that negatively affect their performance at work. These problems become business problems, as productivity declines, stress induces absenteeism, and extra pressure is put on colleagues.
Our Employee Assistance Programmes provide staff in need with a trained professional who supports them through:
- Trauma – Support for employees who are victims of crime, abuse, accidents and injury on- and off-site, loss of loved ones, to name a few
- Debt – Providing solvency solutions and advice to manage debt better
- Stress – Help to manage stressful situations and events
- Marital and family – Practical guidelines to create a stable and supportive home environment
- Substance abuse – Counselling, rehabilitation recommendations, and addressing the issue with seniors
We implement EAP programmes on-site or through a call centre model with face-to-face referrals. If you don’t have the resources to lend a supportiveear, we’ll do the listening on your behalf.
24-HOUR CALL CENTRE
Access to a National Support Centre allows for a real-time response to requests for services and queries.
FACE-TO-FACE COUNSELLING
Traditional counselling conducted at the practices of an EAP affiliate off-site, within a Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) model.
TRAUMA COUNSELLING
On-site response where an EAP trauma specialist will be sent on-site to conduct counselling with staff impacted by an on-site trauma.
FINANCIAL COUNSELLING
Employees have access to financial coaches to address any financial concerns they may have ranging from basic budgeting skills to going into debt review. Excludes: Financial Advisory Services, investments or policy brokering.
LEGAL COUNSELLING
Access to a legal advisor who will provide advice on the employee’s current legal position and on how to best proceed with the matter at hand. This is a telephonic service.
EXCLUDES:
- Labour relations issues pertaining to the client/employer
- Litigation or courtroom representation
- Conveyancing
EMPLOYER SUPPORT
All managers have access to professionals with multiple years’ experience in the employee wellness arena.
